There are a few reasons for your UPS tracking number showing as delivered, even if you never signed for it. Here are the most common:
1. The package was delivered as ‘NSR’ (no signature required), so the driver left it at the front door. Often the couriers will try and leave the package discreetly, to make it less visible and less likely to be stolen. Make sure you check your front entrance thoroughly!
If you’ve done this (and read through the rest of the possibilities in this list), then please contact UPS at 1-800-742-5877 to file a claim. Once you’ve started the claim with the courier, please contact us with the claim number so we can let our shipping department know.
Please note that if we do re-ship an order that was lost or stolen, you will be required to pick it up from a UPS Access Point to ensure the same thing doesn’t happen again.
2. The package was delivered to a UPS Access Point to be held as available for pick up. You’ll be able to see the address of the pick up location in the top right next to the tracking number! When picking up your package, please have your tracking number handy, as well as two pieces of identification.
3. The package was held for pick up for the allotted five days, and was returned to sender. If you look at the ‘Detailed View’ of the Shipment Progress, it will show you the history of the package’s progress so you can determine if this was the case.
4. It doesn’t happen often, but occasionally the courier will drop a package off at the wrong location. It’s worth double checking the city that the package was delivered to, just to make sure that isn’t the case!
